Using an effective DFM process will ensure that your part is optimized for the equipment and manufacturing processes that you are using.

Injection molding is a plastic-processing method that uses a hydraulic rotating screw to melt and inject plastic into a mold, forming the desired product. The mold consists of a set of cavities, usually in the form of channels that are carved into the mold surface.

During the plastic injection process, a heated plastic resin is injected into the cavity through a plastic nozzle. Once the mold has cooled, the injected plastic hardens and forms the part.
