What are the cooling systems of molding machines?

The cooling system of the molding machine is mainly used to control the temperature of the mold, ensuring that the plastic materials during the injection molding process can solidify and solidify appropriately. The following are some common components and functions in the cooling system of forming machines:
1.Cooling water pipeline: Cooling water is guided to the cooling channel of the mold through a series of water pipes. These pipelines are connected to the cooling channels of the mold and regulate the mold temperature by circulating cooling water.
2.Cooling water pump: The cooling water pump is responsible for extracting cooling water from the storage tank and delivering it to the mold cooling channel through pipelines. The operation of pumps is usually controlled by a control system to adjust the flow rate of cooling water.
3.Cooling water tank: The cooling water tank is used to store cooling water. This water tank usually includes a filter to ensure the cleanliness of the cooling water.
4.Cooling water temperature controller: Some advanced cooling systems may include temperature controllers to monitor and adjust the temperature of the cooling water to ensure that the mold maintains the appropriate working temperature.
5.Cooling channels: Cooling channels are channels embedded in the mold, through which cooling water can flow through key parts of the mold, such as areas with larger wall thickness of the product. This helps to evenly cool the entire mold.
6.Rapid cooling system: In some high demand applications, a rapid cooling system may be used to improve cooling speed by increasing the flow rate of cooling water or using low-temperature cooling water.
7.Cooling water filter: The filter is used to remove impurities and particles from the cooling water, preventing them from entering the mold cooling channel and causing blockage or damage.
8.Exhaust valve: The exhaust valve is used to remove air from the cooling system, ensure effective flow of cooling water, and prevent air from affecting the cooling effect.
The design and performance of the cooling system are crucial for the stable operation of the molding machine and product quality. By controlling the mold temperature, the cooling system helps prevent product deformation, shrinkage, or other situations that may cause quality issues.
